Chilled glasses – what does that mean?

The tip “chilled glasses” refers to the practice of cooling glasses before serving drinks. This is especially common with cocktails and certain spirits like Vodka or Tequila. Chilled glasses ensure the drink stays colder longer and its aroma is better preserved. To chill glasses, you can place them in the fridge for a few minutes or fill them with ice water and let them stand briefly before pouring in the drink. Some bartenders also use special ice molds to create ice cubes in the glasses for an extra cooling element.
