Champagne flute – What is it?

A champagne flute is a special drinking vessel used for serving sparkling wine or Champagne. Unlike a standard wine glass, a champagne flute has a tall, slender shape with a long, thin stem and a broad bowl or cup. The wide opening helps concentrate the aromas and flavours of the sparkling wine while promoting the formation of bubbles. Champagne flutes are often elegantly designed and used on special occasions or celebrations to enhance the enjoyment of sparkling wine or Champagne.
