Cocktail bowl – What is that?
A cocktail bowl is a special drinking vessel used for certain cocktails. Unlike the cocktail glass, which is slender and tall, a cocktail bowl has a wider bowl or dish that is often shallow and resembles a small bowl. These bowls are often used for cocktails that are shaken and then strained into the glass, such as the Martini or the Margarita. Cocktail bowls can also be used for cocktails with ice cubes or crushed ice.
