What is Coffee Liqueur?
Coffee liqueur is a liqueur made on the basis of coffee. It is often made from a mixture of coffee, alcohol (such as Vodka or Rum), sugar and various flavours. The liqueur has a strong coffee flavour with sweet or slightly bitter notes, depending on the production method. Coffee liqueur can be enjoyed neat, poured over ice or used in various Cocktails and desserts. A well-known coffee liqueur is, for example, Kahlúa.
