The Advent announces the Christmas season with its four Sundays. For Christians, it marks the birth of Jesus. But even for those who see Christmas simply as a festival of love, it can be a time to pause – admittedly, something that’s hard to do before the holiday. But perhaps you’ll manage it between the years, the time after Christmas and the start of the new year. For many people, these are days spent with family because businesses are closed. Those who do work often lack the usual contacts, leaving time to tidy desks, organize files, and reflect on past notes. To remember what went well and what could be done differently in the coming year. Often during these days, we’re all too aware of our own mistakes and what chaos our colleagues or customers caused.
