Latte Art: Because the eye drinks too. Latte Art is the art of giving a coffee your full attention. This applies not only to the barista but also to the connoisseur who enjoys this work of art in their cup. In doing so, the barista uses the frothed milk to artistically decorate the coffee. Once you’ve seen it, you’ll know at a glance that these people pay homage to coffee. You can feel that, even before the first sip, the coffee bean is something special.
We know it from wine tastings. And no, you haven’t misunderstood the topic; we’re still talking about the latte art of our baristas and the enjoyment that will enchant you and your guests at our mobile café bar or at any other location of your choice.
In blind tastings of wines—when the people tasting the wine know nothing about its origin or winemaking, only what it reveals in the glass—a remarkable effect occurs. Imagine you know neither the country nor the grape variety, the vineyard, or the winery of the wine. In this situation, alongside the wine itself, the setting and atmosphere in which it is tasted take center stage. And they have a clear impact on the perceived flavor. Even the lighting of the room plays a role in how the drink is perceived and evaluated.
