Midori – What is it?

Midori is a vibrant green melon liqueur often used in cocktails for its intense color and sweet, melon-like flavor. Here are some popular cocktails that feature Midori:

1. *Midori Sour:* A refreshing cocktail combining Midori with lemon juice, sugar, and egg white to create a balanced mix of sweetness and acidity.

2. *Tokyo Tea:* A blend of Vodka, Rum, Tequila, Triple Sec, lemon juice, and Midori, resulting in a green cocktail reminiscent of a green Long Island Iced Tea.

3. *Melon Ball:* Midori is mixed with Vodka and pineapple juice to create a fruity cocktail. Sometimes small melon balls are used as garnish.

4. *Japanese Slipper:* This cocktail consists of Midori, Cointreau, and lemon juice. It has a light sweetness and refreshing citrus note.

Midori can be used in many other cocktails as an ingredient to add a fruity and striking flavor, as well as an appealing green color.
