Genever cocktails – what are they?
Genever cocktails are drinks where Genever, a traditional Dutch and Belgian spirit containing juniper and similar to Gin, is used as the main ingredient. Popular Genever cocktails include the Holland Gin Fizz, the Improved Holland Gin Cocktail and the Amsterdam Martini. These cocktails often combine Genever with other ingredients such as citrus fruits, bitters or liqueurs to create different flavors.
