Flip – what is that?
A “flip” is a category of cocktails that typically include egg as an ingredient. A classic flip consists of a spirit (such as Rum or Bourbon), sugar, egg, and sometimes spices. The mixture is shaken and then often sprinkled with nutmeg. A well-known example is the “Rum Flip”.
