Collins – What is that?

A “Collins” refers to a category of cocktails often served in tall glasses known as Collins glasses. The name originates from the Tom Collins, a classic cocktail. The Tom Collins typically consists of gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and soda. Other variations can also be made with different spirits, leading to different types of Collins cocktails, such as a Whiskey Collins or a Vodka Collins. These drinks are often characterized by their freshness and the use of soda.
