Chartreuse Cocktails – What are they?
Chartreuse cocktails use the herbal liqueur Chartreuse as the main ingredient. Chartreuse comes in two varieties: Green Chartreuse, which has bold herbal aromas, and Yellow Chartreuse, which is sweeter and milder. Popular Chartreuse cocktails include the “Last Word,” which combines Green Chartreuse with Gin, maraschino liqueur and lime juice, as well as the “Chartreuse Swizzle“, which features Chartreuse with fresh mint, sugar syrup and crushed ice. These cocktails offer complex flavor profiles thanks to the unique aromas of Chartreuse.
